Eric J. Warner

Ferris State University

Originally from Wisconsin, Eric is an Assistant Professor and the Spanish Program Coordinator at Ferris State University, where he teaches all levels of undergraduate Spanish courses including basic, intermediate and advanced language courses, as well as courses in Hispanic Culture, Hispanic Literature, and Spanish for Specific Purposes. His areas of interest include immigration, social justice as related to Spanish-speaking communities through interdisciplinary connections, and Study Abroad. his work with the Michigan Migrant Head Start Program and Telamon Corporation over the past 12 years has allowed him to gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of the complex world of agriculture and migrant workers, and the ever-changing realities of Latinx communities in the United States.
